ADDAX Vs Young Lions. I would like to say a big thank you to all players that made the game against Young Lions. Well I would say we started out the game making Young Lions work hard for yardage, and then giving it back to them with silly mistakes. Happily, things solidified during the second half and we started to experience some crude version of flow. We played well, and we look forward to them being an even better team later in the next game. Our “assertive” defense was by far the best seen and really put the opposition under pressure. We fully utilized the wide pitch by good use of our set plays and scrumhalf was key to getting the ball to the wings. Teamwork between all of the players gave us a dominant position and by half time we were 3 men down with Biggy. Young Lions came back at us in the second half, where we were penalized for offside and we conceded a try. However we consistently outscored Young Lions with a penalty try from Yaya Samson. Perhaps our best team performance all year. Next |
